CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Peoples Steel Mills Limited, the premier alloy steel manufacturer of Pakistan, is seeking a seasoned GM/Director Sales and Marketing to lead and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand awareness, and expand market share both locally and internationally.

Requirements

  • Education:

    • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

    • An Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy will be preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 20+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

    • Strong focus on the steel industry or related sectors.

  • Skills:

    • Proven track record in Business Development and Marketing of steel or engineering products.

    • Adequate knowledge of governmental policies, including Fiscal, Tariff, Trade, and Industrial Policies.

    • Experience in executing government policies and statutory orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and enhance brand recognition.

    • Set ambitious sales and export targets for both domestic and international markets and devise action plans to achieve these goals.

  • Sales Performance:

    • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.

    • Set individual and team targets, regularly monitor performance, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals.

  • Team Development:

    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the sales and marketing teams.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
