MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTION (MTI) DIKHAN
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Gomal Medical College, Mufti Mehmood Memorial Teaching Hospital, and DHQ Teaching Hospital Dera Ismail Khan (DIKhan) are integral components of the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) DIKhan, established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 (amended).

The Board of Governors MTI DIKhan invites applications from dynamic and qualified professionals for the following key leadership position:

Position Title: Director Procurement – MTI DIKhan

Required Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

  • At least 6 years in a leadership role within:

    • The healthcare industry, or

    • Reputed private/public hospitals operating in an ERP environment.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • KPPRA Rules

    • Materials planning

    • Procurement operations

    • Warehouse & logistics management

    • Imports, transportation, distribution, and material flow management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving and distribution of both clinical and non-clinical materials.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, third-party service providers, and internal hospital staff.

  • Manage storage, inventory control, and material issuance.

  • Monitor price trends, supplier reliability, and availability of items.

  • Contribute to strategic procurement planning and continuous process improvement.

General Information:

  1. Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and relevant experience.

  2. Selection Process: Conducted by the Selection and Recruitment Committee under the Board of Governors, MTI DIKhan.
