The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead and manage its medical and sports science operations. This is a strategic and clinical leadership role responsible for managing medical, analytical, and scientific services under the PCB’s patronage. The role also includes overseeing the diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of players at national and regional levels.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It is committed to the promotion, regulation, and development of cricket at all levels across the country. PCB supports excellence through innovation and strategic leadership in the field of cricket.
Medical or Physiotherapy Degree with an MSc/Diploma in Sports Sciences from a recognized university.
Minimum 10 years of experience working with elite athletes and teams, with a proven and demonstrable track record.
Preferred:
Experience with national and international athletes.
Leadership experience in medical and sport science, ideally in an elite sports setting.
Additional foreign certifications in:
Doping
Age Verification
Physical Training
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
Injury Prevention & Management
Nutrition & Rehabilitation
Experience leading specialist teams including physicians, trainers, and therapists.
Strong knowledge of current research and best practices in sports science and medicine.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to execute strategies efficiently.
Excellent communication (oral & written).
Strong analytical abilities.
Effective stakeholder management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Stay updated on latest developments in sports medicine.
Develop and implement action plans for health and fitness awareness among national and domestic players.
Promote and educate players on nutrition and personalized diet control plans.
Guide and coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and trainers at both national and regional levels.
Liaise with domestic & international medical facilities (hospitals, diagnostic centers).
Propose improvements for the medical center to PCB’s management.
Lead development programs for PCB-affiliated physiotherapists and physical trainers.
Maintain and oversee a medical history database of all PCB players.
Supervise rehabilitation programs and injury tracking of players.
Manage the delivery of sports science services (injury prevention, diagnosis, performance enhancement, etc.).
