Applications are invited on a regular basis from Pakistani nationals domiciled in Punjab Province only for the following positions at the University of Mianwali, on the prescribed application form available on the University website (www.umw.edu.pk).

Vacant Positions

1. Director (Research, Innovation & Commercialization) – ORIC

Scale of Pay: BS-20
Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 40–50 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • Option A:

    • PhD in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institute or university; and

    • Minimum 08 years post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or private HEC-recognized institution or university.

OR

  • Option B:

    • MS or MPhil (at least 2nd Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute or university; and

    • Minimum 10 years post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or HEC-recognized institution or university.

2. Director (Quality Enhancement Cell – QEC)

Scale of Pay: BS-20
Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 40–50 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • Option A:

    • PhD in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institute or university; and

    • Minimum 08 years post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or private HEC-recognized institution or university.

OR

  • Option B:

    • MS or MPhil (at least 2nd Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute or university; and

    • Minimum 10 years post-qualification teaching or administrative experience in a public or HEC-recognized institution or university.

Mandatory Instructions

  1. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University of Mianwali website: www.umw.edu.pk.

  2. Age relaxation shall be admissible as per Government of Punjab rules.

  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

  4. Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the relevant authority (HEC/IEC).

  5. Each application must be accompanied by an original bank draft of Rs. 4,000/- (non-refundable) as processing fee, drawn in favor of Treasurer, University of Mianwali.

  6. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate and complete applications, along with separate bank drafts for each post.

  7. Candidates already employed in Government / Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel by the due date; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.

  8. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.

  9. Quota shall be observed as per Government of Punjab rules.

  10. Applicants applying under a quota must clearly mention the quota category and submit separate applications accordingly.

  11. Three (03) complete sets of the prescribed application form, duly filled and signed, along with all required documents, must reach the Office of the Registrar on or before 20th February 2026.

  12. The University reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement, fill or not fill any position, withhold appointments, or accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

  13. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test or interview.

  14. Candidates are advised to visit the University website regularly for updates and information: www.umw.edu.pk.

  15. The decision of the University shall be final and binding in all cases.
