NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (NUMS)

SITUATIONS VACANT

NUMS invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:

1. Director (Human Resource)

Directorate/Department: Human Resource

Qualification:
Master's degree in Business Administration/Management from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification in the relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15–17 years' relevant experience including 10 years of University experience in HR recruitment and management, at a similar position, in reputed public sector Universities/Organizations.

  • Experience in a Medical University/Academic Institution/setups will be an added preference.

  • Working experience in formulation/implementation of HR-related policies.

  • Well versed with Government Rules & Regulations of HEC/PM&DC/PNC and other relevant regulatory bodies.

  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

2. Managing Editor

Qualification:
Ph.D./M.Phil., preferably in Community Medicine with a basic degree of MBBS from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification.

Experience & Research Publication:

  • Minimum 10–15 years' relevant experience including 5–7 years of working experience in academic management in reputed public/private/autonomous, national or international organizations.

  • Experience as Managing Editor of a Peer-Reviewed Multidisciplinary Journal will be preferred.

  • Minimum 10–15 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.

  • Demonstrated experience as a reviewer for peer-reviewed national and international journals and research grant applications.

3. Assistant Director (Administration)

Qualification:
Master's/Bachelor's or equivalent degree preferably in Management/Administration from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification. Must be computer savvy.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification relevant experience including 5 years of working experience in general administration, management, transportation, store & office administration in reputed public/private sector organizations respectively.

  • Experience at University/Academic administration setups will be an added preference.

  • Conversant with government rules & regulations including PPRA etc.

  • Should have strong verbal/written communication skills.

4. Audit Officer

Qualification:
Master's/Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification in the relevant field. Must be computer savvy.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4–5 years' relevant experience including 2–3 years of working experience in the areas of Audit & Taxation, Financial management and Inspections in public/private sector National & International.
