A Public Sector organization invites applications from suitably qualified candidates against the following position on contract basis for an initial period of three years, extendable based on performance and business need, with the terms & conditions, as mentioned below:

Position: 01(Merit) Grade: SEG-I
Place of Posting: Islamabad or anywhere in Pakistan

Eligible Qualification & Experience: Post Graduate Degree in Law / LLM / Bar-at-law with LLB (Minimum 2nd Division) and at least 15 years post qualification experience as an Advocate High Court / Supreme Court level or having experience in high level Legal Advisory Capacity with National / International organization of repute.
Director General (Law & Regulation). will be responsible for end to end management for all matters of Law & Regulation Division including:

  • Advising the Organization on legislative and policy matters.
  • Supervising the functioning of Law and Regulations Division on clay to-day basis.
  • Supervising and managing the external litigation, court cases,
    appointments of lawyers, maintenance of the database relating to litigation and follow up of cases etc.
  • Managing and scheduling of internal hearings on complaints /
    claims / appeals and dealing with Show Cause Notices under relevant provisions of the Act.
  • Drafting and vetting of determinations, enforcement orders, rules, regulations. licenses and agreements etc.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Well versed with the functioning of lower courts, High Court & Supreme Court.
  • Proactive approach in resolving legal issues and matters: where legal input is required.
  • The ability to analyze and present information/ draft material from legal point of view in a clear and logical manner.
  • Good Communication and Inter- Personal Skills.
  • Ability to handle the assigned affairs independently and delegate responsibilities and tasks effectively.

Preference will be given to candidate having:

  • Experience with Regulatory Body or an International / National Telecom organization:
  • Knowledge and experience of Telecom/regulatory Laws Age Requirement: 55 Years (Maximum)

Gross Monthly Salary Rs 541,791/- Including all Perks & Privileges.
