SITUATION VACANT

The Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) invites applications on an all-Pakistan basis for the post of Director General (BPS-22). Applications are welcomed from highly qualified and experienced individuals who meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Position Details

Post: Director General (BPS-22)
Maximum Age: 70 years

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

  1. Judicial / Administrative Experience:

    • A serving or retired District & Sessions Judge, or

    • An officer of the Supreme Court, a High Court, Federal or Provincial Government, or a body corporate who has served at BPS-21 or above.

    • Preference will be given to a person with significant experience in judicial education or teaching law.

  2. Academic Experience:

    • An academician in law with at least 10 years teaching experience at a recognized university or law college.

    • Must hold a Postgraduate degree in Law or Judicial Education from a national or international HEC-recognized institution.

    • Must have research publications of national or international recognition.

    • Preference will be given to a person who has headed such an institution.

  3. Judicial Experience at Highest Level:

    • A former Judge of the Supreme Court or a High Court.

    • Initial appointment will be for two years, extendable as deemed appropriate.

  6. Incomplete / Late Applications:

    • Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered.

  7. Selection Process:

    • Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview.

    • No TA/DA will be provided.
