Position: Director Electric

Position Details

Functional Area

  • All electrical matters, including ventures, projects, and undertakings, related to DHA Lahore.

Required Qualification

  • BSc (Electrical Engineering – Power)

  • MSc (Electrical Engineering – Power) will be given preference

Experience

  • Minimum 25–30 years of professional experience in WAPDA

  • At least 3–5 years of overseas experience in a managerial electrical position

Key Job Responsibilities

The Director Electric will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Act as the focal person for all electrical matters of DHA Lahore

  • Provide timely and technically sound advice for decision-making on electrical projects

  • Coordinate effectively with government and statutory bodies, including LESCO, NTDC, and WAPDA

  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply, including alternative arrangements during outages and maintenance

  • Plan and oversee construction of grid stations and transmission lines in accordance with load requirements

  • Coordinate with consultants on electrical designs, standards, and technical approvals

  • Conduct technical vetting of IPCs related to electrical components of projects

  • Carry out future planning of electrical networks in line with DHA Lahore’s master plan

  • Identify and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks related to electrical infrastructure

Service Tenure

  • Initial contract of 05 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance
