The Directorate General of Industries, Punjab, invites applications from highly skilled, motivated, and eligible professionals for appointment against project-based positions. These vacancies exist under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) scheme titled "Establishment of Industrial Planning & Analysis Cell at Directorate General of Industries, Punjab."

This is an excellent opportunity for IT and cybersecurity experts to contribute to the strategic industrial development and digital infrastructure of the Punjab Government.

VACANT POSITIONS & ELIGIBILITY DETAILS

1. DevOps Engineer

• Number of Posts: 01

• Project Pay Scale (PPS): PPS-8

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Candidates must possess 16 years of education (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely relevant field from a recognized university/institution.

• Required Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable post-qualification experience in a relevant IT environment.

  • Must possess strong, hands-on knowledge of database development and administration.

  • Must have in-depth expertise in cybersecurity, with a keen awareness of advanced security protocols, threat landscapes, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Additional Requirements: Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools will be considered an added advantage.

2. Network Security Engineer

• Number of Posts: 04

• Project Pay Scale (PPS): PPS-7

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Candidates must possess 16 years of education (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunications from an HEC-recognized university.

• Required Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in network administration, implementation, and security.

  • Preferred Certification: Candidates holding a valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification will be given strong preference.

  • Must have practical experience in configuring firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and ensuring the integrity of enterprise-level network infrastructures.

• Additional Requirements: Familiarity with network monitoring tools and disaster recovery planning is highly desirable.
