INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC), a key driver of Pakistan’s economic growth through its robust Transmission & Dispatch network, invites applications from energetic and competent graduates for its Graduate Internship Program (GIP) 2025-26 under its corporate social responsibility initiative.

Available Internship Position

- Minimum B. Tech Honors (Electrical/Electronics) with 1st Division / CGPA ≥ 2.5 / ≥ 60% from HEC-recognized universities/institutions.
- Minimum 3 years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronic technology from a recognized technical institute.		 Maximum 30 years 1 (BE/BSc/B.Tech)
25 (DAE)		 Attock, Thatta, Haripur & Islamabad

Instructions and General Conditions:

  1. Application Process:
    Candidates must apply online via the prescribed application portal available on the NGC website:
    www.ntdc.gov.pk/careers

  2. Internship Tenure:
    The internship duration is one year. The contract will automatically expire after one year with no extensions.

  3. Stipend:

    • Rs. 40,000/- per month for candidates with BE/BSc Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or B-Tech (Honors) degrees.

    • Rs. 30,000/- per month for candidates with DAE (Electrical/Electronics).

  4. Eligibility:

    • Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.

    • Candidates who have previously availed the Development Fellow opportunity at NGC/NTDC are not eligible.

    • Only candidates from the listed districts (Attock, Thatta, Haripur & Islamabad) may apply.

  5. Documentation:
    Applicants must upload the following documents on the online portal:

    • Educational certificates/degrees and transcripts (HEC verified)

    • Valid PEC registration card

    • Domicile

    • CNIC

    • Recent passport-size photograph

  6. Selection Process:
    Only shortlisted candidates will be selected for the Graduate Internship Program (GIP) 2025-26.

  7. Verification:
    Candidates must present original documents/certificates when called by NGC for verification.

  8. Age Limit:
    Age will be calculated on the last date for submission of applications. No age relaxation will be provided.

  9. Disqualification:
    Incomplete or incorrect applications may be disqualified at any stage, even after selection or employment. Candidates dismissed or debarred from service on disciplinary grounds are ineligible.

  10. No TA/DA:
    No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid for attending any tests or interviews.

  11. NGC Rights:
    NGC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of internship positions or withhold the selection process at any stage.

  12. Application Deadline:
    Applications must be received by 2nd November 2025.
