Vacancy Announcement - Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL)

Company Overview: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, is a leading Exploration and Production (E&P) company in Pakistan. The company is inviting applications for the following positions.

Available Positions:

  1. Deputy Chief Internal Audit (QAIP) (EG-V)

    • Requisite Qualification & Experience:
      • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, or Chartered Certified Accountant.
      • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Internal Audit, preferably managing Quality Assurance initiatives.
      • Preference will be given to candidates with CIA/CISA/CISM certification and ERP SAP knowledge, along with relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
    • Upper Age Limit: 45 years.

  2. Deputy Chief Internal Audit (IT) (EG-V)

    • Requisite Qualification & Experience:
      • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant, or a Master's degree in Computer Sciences/IT/Information Systems/IT Governance/Security.
      • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Audit, Governance, or IT Security.
      • CISA/CISM certification and knowledge of ERP SAP are mandatory.
      • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
    • Upper Age Limit: 45 years.

Additional Information:

  • Membership Requirement: Candidates with CA/CMA/ACCA must be a member of the relevant professional body.
  • Articleship Period: For Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be counted as experience.
  • Initial Term of Employment: 3 years, extendable by mutual consent.
  • Foreign Degrees: Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC.
  • Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage of the recruitment process.
  • TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible.
  • Company's Right: The company reserves the right to fill or not to fill the advertised positions.
