Engagement of Staff on Contingent Basis

Government of the Punjab

The Punjab Mineral Development Corporation invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates on a contingent basis for various positions at its Project/Field Offices and Sites located across Punjab. The initial engagement will be for a period of two (02) years (extendable subject to satisfactory performance) under the conditions of the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004 of the Government of Punjab.

01. Resident Engineer / Mining Engineer

• Qualification: M.Sc. Mining Engineering (with valid PEC Registration).

• Experience: 10 to 15 Years of relevant field experience.

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab.

• Pay Package: As per PMDC Contingent Policy.

02. Senior Geologist

• Qualification: M.Sc. Geology from a recognized university.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of post-qualification field experience.

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab.

• Pay Package: As per PMDC Contingent Policy.

03. Assistant Mining Engineer

• Qualification: DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Mining.

• Experience: Relevant field experience.

04. Mine Surveyor

• Qualification: DAE / Mining Survey Certificate Course.

• Experience: 10 Years of relevant surveying experience.

05. Assistant Mine Surveyor

• Qualification: DAE / Mining Survey Certificate (02 to 03 Years Course).

• Experience: Relevant practical experience.

06. Accounts Assistant

• Qualification: M.Com or B.Com (at least 2nd Division) with strong skills in MS Office.

• Experience: Relevant accounting and software experience.

07. Computer Operator

• Qualification: B.Sc / BCS / BIT or equivalent with a Diploma in Computer Applications.

• Skills: Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (W.P.M).

08. Junior Clerk

• Qualification: FA / F.Sc / I.Com (at least 2nd Division) with a Diploma in Computer Applications.

• Skills: Proficient typing speed.

09. Driver

• Qualification: Literate with a valid LTV Driving License.

• Experience: Proven driving experience. Preference will be given to candidates with corporate/field sector experience.

10. Auto Mechanic

• Qualification: Literate with a Diploma or Certificate in Auto Mechanics.

### General Terms & Conditions

1. Contractual Status: Appointments are strictly temporary and on a contingent contract basis for an initial duration of 2 years.

2. Management Rights: The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or completely withdraw any advertised vacancy at any point without assigning a reason.

3. No TA/DA: Travel Allowance and Daily Allowance will not be paid to candidates appearing for tests or interviews.

4. Government Servants: Applicants currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must submit their applications through the proper channel along with an NOC from their parent department.

5. Disqualification Criteria: If any certificate, degree, or information provided by a candidate is found to be forged, fake, or misleading, their application will be rejected immediately, and legal action may follow.

6. Late/Incomplete Submissions: Applications received after the due closing date or missing essential educational documents will not be processed.
