Deputy Managing Director

Reference is made to the advertisement No. PID(L) 1899 dated 26° December 2021 published in Daily Express, The News, The Express Tribune, and Nawa-i-Waqt advertising career opportunity for the post of Deputy Managing Director (System Operation), National Transmission & Despatch Company Limited.

The following amendments to the aforesaid advertisement are hereby notified:

 
  1. The description shall be amended as follows:
    The position of Deputy Managing Director (System Operation) will be responsible for leading the system operation transformation within NTDC and will be expected to lead on behalf of NTDC the establishment and operational ization of the Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM). The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of tasks outlined in the NEPRA approved market design of the CTBCM.
    The position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and will directly report to NTDC's Managing Director. The incumbent will work closely with the Board of Directors of NTDC to ensure the implementation and monitoring of assigned objectives.
  2. The "Qualification, Experience and Age" shall be amended as follows:

     

    1. The candidate should either have (a) Ph.D. degree with at least 12 years' experience, or (b) Master's/Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years' experience, in the energy sector preferably in system operation and/or energy markets.
    2. The candidate should not be more than 58 years of age on the date of closing of the advertisement.
  3. All other terms and conditions shall remain unchanged.
