GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Merged Districts for appointment against the following project-based positions in a Government Organization on a contract basis. The required qualifications, experience, and other eligibility criteria are detailed below.

1 Deputy Director IT (BS-18) 01 Qualification: BS-SE / BSCS / MCS / MSC (Computer Science) from an HEC-recognized institute.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in an IT-related role, including at least 2 years in BPS-17 or equivalent in Government or Semi-Government organizations.
2 GIS Specialist (BS-17) 01 Qualification (Any One):
• 1st Division in M.Sc GIS / BS GIS
• 1st Division in M.Sc (Geography/Geology/Environmental Sciences) OR Bachelor in Computer Science, with a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in GIS.
• 1st Division in M.Sc (Computer Science) with a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in GIS.
3 GIS Analyst (BS-16) 02 Qualification: (As per GIS Specialist criteria above).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in:
• Managing and developing GIS databases.
• Hydrological modeling, mapping of flood inundation zones, and groundwater mapping.
• Developing and utilizing flash flood guidance systems using ArcGIS Software Suite, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine.
4 Computer Operator (BS-16) 02 Qualification (Any One):
• Second Division in Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with a one-year diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (BCS/BIT - Four years) from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in data entry and other office computer-related activities.
Skills: Excellent skills in Office Automation and mandatory knowledge of Internet and Email.
5 Data Collector (BS-12) 04 Qualification: 2nd Division in BS GIS OR M.Sc (Geography/Geology/Environmental Sciences) OR Bachelor in Computer Science, with a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in GIS.
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in GIS.
6 Chowkidar (BS-03) 01 Qualification: Literate.

  2. Departmental Candidates: Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government organizations must apply through the proper channel.
