PSDP PROJECT – CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from qualified Male and Female candidates for appointment on a contract basis against the following positions under a PSDP Project of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

Vacant Positions

1. Network / IT Security Specialist

• Scale: PPS-07

• No. of Posts: 01

• Duty Stations: Islamabad / Lahore

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor LAN/WAN performance, availability, and security

• Analyze network requirements and recommend new technologies and solutions

• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for network usage across projects

• Coordinate with vendors regarding network equipment, structure, and operating systems

• Assess network performance and implement upgrades and improvements

• Provide second-level technical support and resolve complex network issues

• Participate in security monitoring, incident response, and investigation of abnormal events

• Lead network security tasks and escalation handling

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent (HEC-recognized)
  OR

• Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering / Computer Systems Engineering (PEC-recognized)

• 05–06 years of relevant experience in IT, Networking, Security, Systems Administration, Programming, or ICT Operations (BPS-17 or equivalent)

• Maximum Age: 35 years (age relaxation as per government rules)

• Preference: Candidates with Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Network & Security certifications

2. Assistant Director (Full Stack / Cloud Security)

• Scale: PPS-07

• No. of Posts: 01

• Duty Stations: Islamabad / Lahore

Key Responsibilities

• Work on cloud security and full-stack development

• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications

• Handle both front-end and back-end development using modern frameworks

• Design, develop, and manage databases and system integrations

• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications

• Produce documentation, reports, and analytical data

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering (HEC-recognized)
  OR

• Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering / Computer Systems Engineering (PEC-recognized)

• Maximum Age: 30 years (age relaxation as per government rules)

• Preference: Full Stack Development and Cloud Security experience

3. Junior IT / Software Officer

• Scale: PPS-06

• No. of Posts: As per project requirement

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Computer Engineering / Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent (PEC-recognized)

• Maximum Age: 28 years

General Terms & Conditions

1. Appointments will be made on a project basis and will remain valid until project completion or as per requirement, whichever is earlier.

2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

3. No TA/DA will be admissible.

4. Government employees must apply through proper channel.
