About the Opportunity

The University of Baltistan, Skardu (GB) invites applications from eligible candidates for the following position. Applications must reach the office of the undersigned by October 08, 2026.

1. Demonstrator (Computer Science) 01 03 years (as indicated) — Minimum First Class BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science awarded after 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized University/DAI

Minimum Qualification

The candidate must possess:

  • BS / 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or another closely related Computing discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

Preferred Academic / Professional Competence

Candidates having a relevant higher degree and specialization.

Preference may be given to candidates having:

  • Relevant laboratory or teaching experience at undergraduate level.

  • Practical proficiency in programming and software development.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Data Structures, Database Systems, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Web Development, Object-Oriented Programming, Digital Logic Design, Artificial Intelligence, or other relevant CS laboratory areas.

  • Relevant industry certifications, professional training, or practical project experience.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing computer laboratories and assisting students during practical sessions.

Important Notes

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or interview.

  • Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be considered.

Career Opportunities (Temporary / Contractual Engagement)

  1. The position is purely contractual for a period of 06 months (extendable based on performance).

  2. Selected candidates shall be entitled exclusively to an all-inclusive consolidated monthly package of PKR 60,000/-. No pension, GPF, gratuity, medical, or other perks apply.

  3. The University Competent Authority reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of seats, withhold, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason or incurring legal liability.

  4. Canvassing in any form, suppression of facts, or submission of forged / unrecognized credentials shall disqualify the candidate at any stage and invite criminal proceedings.

  5. Applicants must deposit a Rs. 1,000/- non-refundable application processing fee in the name of University of Baltistan, Skardu, NBP Account No: 03486004147744785, and submit one copy of the slip during form submission.
