The Medical Teaching Institution, Mardan (MTI Mardan) invites applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced academic leaders for a merit-based, contractual appointment to the prestigious position of Dean.

Position Overview

  • Designation: Dean, Bacha Khan Dental College

  • Location: Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)

  • Nature of Post: Contract basis

  • Reporting Authority: Board of Governors (BoG), MTI Mardan

  • Core Mandate: Serves as the institutional head of the Dental College, holding primary responsibility for all undergraduate and postgraduate dental teaching, academic administration, and clinical research initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

1. Academic Credentials

  • Basic Qualification: BDS or an equivalent medical qualification.

  • Advanced Postgraduate Qualification: Must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field, or a premier clinical/academic diploma such as FCPS, US Board Certification, or an equivalent highest-tier post-graduate qualification in dental sciences or its sub-specialties.

  • Professional Standing: A professional of national, and preferably international, reputation in basic or clinical dental sciences with a proven track record in teaching and a strong commitment to medical education and research.

2. Experience & Leadership

  • Administrative Experience: Minimum of 7 years of administrative experience serving as the head of a department (HoD), unit, academic program, or medical institution.

  • Competencies: Demonstrated leadership qualities, institutional management capabilities, and strategic vision for dental health education.
