Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

Ziauddin University invites distinguished and visionary professionals to join its Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. We are seeking experienced leaders and scholars to help shape the future of pharmaceutical education and research. The positions available are:

1. Dean – Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

Qualification:

  • Must hold the rank of Professor.

  • Possess a Ph.D. in Pharmacy or a related discipline recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of academic and research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution,
    OR

  • At least 10 years of post-Ph.D. academic/research experience with demonstrated contributions to educational leadership.

Research Publications:

  • A minimum of 15 research publications.

  • At least 5 publications must be from the last 5 years, published in HEC-recognized W or X category journals.

Preferred Attributes and Skills:

  • International academic exposure (through teaching, research, or collaborations).

  • Demonstrated global research impact (citations, international projects, or participation in global conferences).

  • Proven ability to work in multicultural academic environments.

2. Professor – Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

Qualification:

  • A Ph.D. in one of the following or a related discipline:

    • Pharmacy Practice

    • Pharmaceutics

    • Pharmaceutical Chemistry

    • Pharmacology

    • Pharmacognosy

  • Must meet the HEC criteria for appointment as Professor.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of academic and research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution,
    OR

  • At least 10 years of post-Ph.D. academic/research experience with a strong record of educational leadership.

Research Publications:

  • A minimum of 15 research publications.

  • At least 5 publications must be from the last 5 years, published in HEC-recognized W or X category journals.

Preferred Attributes and Skills:

  • International academic exposure (through teaching, research, or collaborations).

  • Global research impact (e.g., citations, international projects, or conference presentations).

  • Experience working in diverse and multicultural academic settings.
