CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following positions at the Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS) under the HEC-funded project titled "Establishment of Federal Institute at Hyderabad."

Important Notes:

• Appointments will initially be made for a period of three (03) years and are likely to continue.

• The Institute reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised posts or to alter the number of posts without assigning any reason.

VACANT POSITIONS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Controller of Examinations

• Number of Posts: 01

• Scale: BPS-20 (Tenure post for three years)

• Qualification: At least a Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized higher education institution, with no third division in the academic career. Preference will be given to highly qualified candidates.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Examination Department of a university, with adequate computer proficiency required to effectively manage the department.

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

2. Assistant Professor

• Number of Posts: 03

• Scale: BPS-19

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized Higher Education Institution (in consultation with the accreditation body), with no third division in the academic career.

• Experience: Candidates having 1–2 years of Teaching/Research experience may be given preference.

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

3. Lecturer

• Number of Posts: 03

• Scale: BPS-18

• Qualification: Master's Degree equivalent to 18 years of Education with a minimum 3.0 CGPA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized Higher Education Institution (in consultation with the accreditation body), with no third division in the academic career.

• Experience: Candidates having 1–2 years of Teaching/Research experience may be given preference.

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

4. Assistant Director, QEC

• Number of Posts: 01

• Scale: BPS-17

• Qualification: Preferably a First-Class Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with no third division in the academic career.

• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in quality assurance, particularly in a university or higher education institution, with sound knowledge of the semester system, QEC standards and procedures, and HEC quality assurance policies and guidelines.

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

5. Personal Secretary to the Rector

• Number of Posts: 01

• Scale: BPS-17

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with no third division in the academic career.

• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in English and have experience working as a Personal Secretary in the office of any University/Institute or other senior executive, with sound knowledge of office administration and executive support.

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

6. Assistant Director Accounts (Project Management Unit - PMU)

• Number of Posts: 01

• Scale: PPS-7 (Contractual – 2 years)

• Qualification: At least 16 years of education (2nd Class) in BS/BBA/MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Additional qualifications (ACCA/ICMA/CA with articleship completed) will be given due weightage.

• Experience: At least two years of experience in audit, finance, and accounts in the Government sector or in a reputable firm. Must have sound knowledge of modern accounting principles, public sector/Government financial rules, audit procedures, and excellent command of accounting software.

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

7. Lab Instructor

• Number of Posts: 06

• Scale: BPS-16

• Qualification: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Data Science from an HEC-recognized university/degree-awarding institute.

• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in managing, troubleshooting, and teaching Lab-Based courses in higher education institutes.

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS & FURTHER INFORMATION

1. Application Form: Forms may be downloaded from the HITMS website or obtained from the Office of the Registrar.

2. Processing Fee: Submit the completed application form along with a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 5,000/- (non-refundable) as the application processing fee, made payable to the Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS) .

3. Submission Deadline: Applications must reach the address below within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

4. Required Documents: Candidates shall submit one copy of their bio-data/CV along with attested copies of educational degrees, certificates, one recent passport-size photograph, and research publications (where applicable), properly bound.

5. In-Service Candidates: Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.

6. Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form, processing fee, and supporting documents for each post.

7. Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete, lack required certificates/processing fee, or are received after the due date shall not be entertained.

8. Envelope Marking: The envelope must clearly mention the post applied for.

9. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and/or interview. No separate intimation shall be given to ineligible candidates.

10. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test or interview.

11. Determination of Eligibility: Qualification and experience shall be determined as of the closing date for submission of applications.
