POSITIONS ANNOUNCEMENT AT MTI D.I. KHAN

The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) D.I. Khan has been declared an autonomous institution governed by a Board of Governors, as per the Medical Teaching Institution Reform (Amended) Act 2015 of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for the following vacant positions at the Neonatal ICU (NICU), Pediatrics Department, Women & Children Hospital, MTI D.I. Khan. These positions are non-transferable and will be filled on a fixed-pay basis.

JOB DETAILS

1. Consultant Neonatologist / Consultant Pediatrics

  • Pay: Special Pay Package (Negotiable)

  • Qualification:

    • FCPS / MD / any other PMDC-recognized equivalent degree.

    • Preference will be given to FCPS Neonatal Pediatrics.

    • Note: In the absence of a candidate with FCPS Neonatal Pediatrics, those with FCPS Pediatrics and experience in Neonatal ICU will be considered.

2. Trainee Registrar (Pediatrics)

  • Qualification:

    • MBBS with valid PMDC registration.

    • Completion certificate of Postgraduate Fellowship Training in the relevant field.

  • Tenure:

    • Two years, extendable up to three years based on performance and institutional needs.

3. Charge Nurses (Male/Female)

  • Qualification:

    • BS Nursing (4-year program)

    • OR Three-year Diploma in General Nursing with:

      • One-year Midwifery or

      • One-year Specialty Diploma

  • Registration: Must be a Registered Nurse with PNC.

4. Respiratory Therapist

  • Pay: Negotiable

  • Qualification:

    • BS (4-year) in Respiratory Therapy, or

    • BS in Intensive Care Technology from a recognized institution.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Duties will be assigned as per the MTI Act 2015 (amended) and Regulations 2019.

  2. Special salary packages along with fringe benefits will be offered.

  3. A mandatory uniform/dress code will be enforced.

  4. These positions are non-transferable and specific to the NICU, Pediatrics Department at MTI D.I. Khan.

  5. Selection process will be conducted by the Selection Committee appointed by the Board of Governors, MTI D.I. Khan.

  6. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews.
