VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates for appointment on a contractual basis against the following vacant positions at SMBBIT Karachi:

Available Positions & Requirements

1. Consultant in Emergency Medicine

  • Qualification: FCPS / MRCS / DAB (Emergency Medicine)

  • Experience: Valid PMDC registration required. Preference will be given to candidates with post-qualification experience in a reputed hospital.

2. Consultant in General Surgery

  • Qualification: FCPS (General Surgery)

  • Experience: Valid PMDC registration required. Preference will be given to candidates with post-qualification experience in a reputable hospital.

Terms of Appointment

  • Contract Period: Appointments will be made initially for a period of 2 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

  • Government Employees: Must apply through proper channel.

  • Post-qualification experience: Only experience after acquiring the required qualification will be considered.

  • TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be paid.

  • Salary: Selected candidates will be offered salary packages as per their respective pay scale.

  • Regularization: These appointments do not lead to permanent employment.

  • Authority Decision: The decision of the competent authority cannot be challenged in any court of law.

  • Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and they must present their original documents.
