Applications are invited from suitable candidates.

District Council Narowal intends to appoint a Part-Time Legal Advisor to pursue its legal cases in various courts including the Supreme Court, Subordinate Courts, District Court, High Court, Civil Court, Labour Court, and Service Tribunal, under the Punjab Local Government Legal Advisors Rules 2003.

Interested advocates may submit their applications along with complete attested documents to the undersigned office by July 15, 2025.

Interviews will be conducted on July 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
No separate interview call will be issued.
Applicants must bring all original educational degrees and certificates at the time of the interview.

Terms and Conditions:

Appointment Approval:
The appointment will be subject to final approval by the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab.
Experience Requirement:
The applicant must be a practicing advocate with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience.
Monthly Honorarium:
A monthly honorarium of PKR 25,000 will be paid to the part-time legal advisor.
No Additional Fee:
No separate case-wise fee will be paid for the conduct of any legal matter.
Jurisdiction Compliance:
The legal advisor will be required to pursue cases within and outside the District Headquarters.
Prior Submission to Law Department:
Applicants must also send a copy of the application to the Secretary, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab in advance.
Tenure of Appointment:
The appointment will be for a period of two (2) years, in accordance with the prescribed rules.
Incomplete or Late Applications:
Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered.
