JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Sindh Safe Cities Authority invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for various positions on a purely contract basis. These positions offer a market-competitive salary package and provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

### Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: 50 years

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Big Data, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of post-qualification experience in Information Technology, ICT, Telecommunications, Software Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Digital Transformation, or related fields.

  • At least three (03) years of experience in a senior management position (e.g., CTO, CIO, Director IT, Head of IT, Head of Technology, Head of Networks, Program Director, or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, implementation, and management of large-scale technology projects and enterprise ICT infrastructure.

  • Experience in managing technical teams, vendors, consultants, and technology projects.

  • Experience in command-and-control centers, smart city initiatives, public safety technologies, or government digital transformation projects is highly preferred.

  • Experience with data centers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity operations, AI/ML, and enterprise systems is preferred.

  • Relevant industry certifications and knowledge of ISO standards will be an added advantage.

2. Media & Communications Officer

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: 45 years

• Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institute.

• Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in media communication, public relations, or strategic communications, preferably in government or public sector organizations.

  • Proven experience in handling electronic, print, and digital media, including crisis communication.

  • Experience in large public sector projects or departments will be an added advantage.

  • Relevant certification related to the job description is preferred.

3. Digital Media Specialist

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: 35 years

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institute.

• Experience:

  • Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience in digital media management, social media handling, or media communications.

  • Proven experience in managing corporate or large-scale digital platforms.

  • Hands-on knowledge of social media tools, analytics, and content management systems (CMS) will be an added advantage.

  • Relevant certification related to the job description is preferred.

4. Content Specialist

• No. of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: 35 years

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Creative Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institute.

• Experience:

  • Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience as a content developer, creative designer, or in media production.

  • Proven experience in creating content for government, corporate, or large-scale public communication platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with creative tools and content management systems will be an added advantage.

  • Relevant certification related to the job description is preferred.

1. Eligibility: Interested candidates possessing a domicile of Sindh Province and meeting the eligibility criteria must submit their application form along with a detailed CV, an attested copy of their CNIC, and all relevant supporting documents.

2. Submission Deadline: The last date for submission is June 30, 2026. Applications received after this date will not be entertained.
