CAREER OPPORTUNITY IN BANKING

THE PUNJAB PROVINCIAL COOPERATIVE BANK LIMITED (PPCBL)

Position Details

Chief Security Officer (01 Position)

Location: Lahore

Qualification

  • Minimum 14 years of education from an HEC-recognized local or foreign institution.

  • Preference will be given to Ex-Army Officers of the rank of Major (Fighting Arms).

  • Possession of PSC / ISC / LSC or equivalent qualification will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience.

  • At least 03 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions.

Note: Applicants compulsorily retired from the Army on disciplinary, inefficiency, or medical grounds are not eligible to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and administer the Bank’s security and safety programs in line with approved security policies.

  • Supervise and manage overall security arrangements of the Bank, including Head Office, branches, and other offices.

  • Review, upgrade, and ensure implementation of the Bank’s security policies and procedural manuals.

  • Ensure proper functioning of electronic security systems at all Bank premises, including:

    • CCTV and surveillance cameras

    • Burglary alarm systems

    • Security sensors

    • Smoke detectors

    • Fire alarms and fire extinguishers

  • Maintain effective liaison with law enforcement agencies to address and manage security threats.

  • Identify potential security risks and hazards, analyze vulnerabilities, and ensure appropriate risk control measures at all premises.

  • Conduct security awareness, self-defense, and safety training programs for Bank staff.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong adaptability, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage sensitive security matters.
