COMPANY OVERVIEW
A newly established clean energy company seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned Chief Operating Officer to lead the company and work closely with leadership.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER - RENEWABLE & CLEAN ENERGY
As Chief Operating Officer of our Renewable & Clean energy company, you will develop, lead and implement the renewable and clean energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop the organization from scratch with an agile high performing team structure with a culture and system fostering innovation, creativity and performance
• Develop and maintain continuous performance management mechanisms to assess KPIs on regular basis
• Translate identified opportunities into commercially viable business cases with cutting edge technology solutions encompassing complete universe of clean energy including but not limited to Solar, Wind, Geo Thermal, etc
• Analyze and interpret regulations and policies, international benchmarks and solutions, competitive landscape, power markets, and other data for business development in clean energy sector
• Develop and drive the strategy for renewable energy business, from business development to implementation and management of projects
• Maintaining diverse network to facilitate identification of market opportunities and create project pipelines
• Staying abreast and up to date with continuously emerging technologies and developing globally in the universe of clean energy and adjusting the strategies accordingly
Education
• Minimum 16 years of education, preferably, Master's from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in the disciplines of Engineering and/or Business Management
Experience
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with preferably 5 years at an equivalent position.
Requirements
• Hands on experience of developing and implementing large renewable energy projects including, commercial and technical due diligence
• Demonstrate leadership by building competitive organizations and innovative teams with agile and creative culture
• Proven track record of running a large renewable/clean energy company or setting up a multibillion- dollar renewable energy projects.
• Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, business development, strategic thinking, talent management, time management, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Fully conversant with regulatory regime and organizations especially in NEPRA.
Age
• The candidate should be preferably not more than 50 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
