Career Opportunity: Chief Internal Auditor

Organization: Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL)
Position: Chief Internal Auditor

PRCL invites applications from qualified and eligible individuals for the position of Chief Internal Auditor. Candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

Education & Experience:

  1. Professional Accountants:

    • Must be a member of a recognized professional body (CA, CPA, ACMA, ACCA).
    • Alternatively, an MBA in Finance from a reputable local or international university/institute.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in auditing, risk management, internal control procedures, and financial compliance.
    • Expertise in governance, risk management, and controls, especially in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) or public sector projects.
  2. Master’s Degree Holders:

    • A Master's degree in Finance from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit, finance, or compliance functions.

Preferred Certifications & Experience (Added Advantage):

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA)
  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 implementation
  • Experience in key roles (audit, finance, compliance) in the insurance industry
  • Public sector experience, understanding of public sector structures, and working knowledge of PPRA Rules and Regulations
  • ERP system exposure

Age Limit:

  • Maximum of 55 years as of the closing date of applications.
