Available Positions

1. Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field from an HEC recognized university.

Experience

• Maximum age limit: Up to 60 years.

• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience.

• At least 2 years in a senior management position in large organizations (BPS-20 level or equivalent).

• Experience in organizations having more than 1000 employees or assets exceeding Rs. 5 billion.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Information Systems and Software Development.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, HR systems, supply chain systems, project management systems, and financial management systems.

• Ability to lead complex organizational change and manage large teams across different locations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preference

• Candidates with Power Sector experience will be preferred.

2. Chief Supply Chain Management Officer

Qualification

• Degree in Management Sciences (preferably Supply Chain Management) from an HEC recognized university.

• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management from a reputable institution will be an advantage.

Experience

• Maximum age limit: Up to 60 years.

• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience at senior management level (BPS-20 or equivalent).

• Experience in large organizations with assets exceeding Rs. 5 billion.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong expertise in supply chain management and procurement practices.

• Experience in inventory management systems and supply chain operations.

• Ability to manage large procurement and logistics operations.

Preference

• Candidates with experience in the power sector will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities (General)

Selected candidates will be expected to:

• Support the Board of Directors of GEPCO in strategic decision-making.

• Manage operations in a complex regulatory, economic, and political environment.

• Ensure efficient business practices and corporate governance.

• Develop community relationships and stakeholder engagement.

• Improve operational performance and service delivery within the electricity distribution network.

Remuneration & Tenure

• Competitive salary package according to GEPCO policies and candidate qualifications.

• Initial contract for 3 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

Other Conditions

• Recruitment will follow the Companies Act 2017 Pakistan and State-Owned Enterprises Governance & Operations Act 2023.
