Introduction

Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF), a company established under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now Companies Act, 2017), invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for appointment to the following positions:

Position Details

1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — Karachi Based

Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SEDF is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the organization's financial management, budgeting, fund allocation, investment oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The CFO ensures the transparent and efficient utilization of public funds, subsidies, venture investments, and administrative expenditures. The role also involves maintaining financial accountability, ensuring fiscal discipline, and complying with applicable laws and the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013, to support SEDF's strategic objectives and sustainable growth.

Qualification & Experience:
A member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least five (05) years relevant experience, in case of Public Sector Companies having total assets of five billion rupees or more;

OR

A person holding a Master's degree in Finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) with at least ten (10) years relevant experience, in case of other Public Sector Companies.

Age Limit: 50 Years

2. Manager Procurement — Karachi Based

Position Overview:
The Manager Procurement will oversee all procurement activities, leveraging extensive experience and sound knowledge of SPPRA and PPRA Rules, procurement planning, preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs), tendering, bid evaluation, contract management, and supplier negotiations to ensure transparency, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in any field from an HEC-recognized institute and minimum eight (08) years of relevant experience in the Procurement function of a Public Sector Organization. Extensive knowledge of SPPRA and PPRA rules is a must.
