Job Opportunity at Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN)

Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN) is Pakistan’s largest civil society network, impacting over 50 million people through its member Rural Support Programmes.

RSPN is inviting applications for a senior leadership role:

Position Title

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) cum Company Secretary

Role Overview

The selected candidate will play a critical leadership role in ensuring:

  • Financial sustainability of the organization
  • Compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks
  • Efficient financial and operational management

The position is essential for supporting RSPN in achieving its mission and strategic objectives.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Applicants must hold one of the following professional certifications from a recognized body:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
  • ACMA (CIMA)

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the non-profit sector in Pakistan

Required Skills & Expertise

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Experience working with international donors
  • Strong background in grant-funded project management
  • Knowledge of:
    • SECP regulations
    • Taxation laws in Pakistan
    • Economic Affairs Division (EAD) requirements
  • Familiarity with:
    • Government financial and procurement systems

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience serving as Company Secretary for a local non-profit board
