CAREER OPPORTUNITY

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - PIACL

Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer.

PIACL aims to restructure itself into a dynamic, modern, and successful national airline of Pakistan. It seeks a professional, motivated, and capable individual to provide the visionary leadership required to bring PIACL back into the league of successful national flag carriers.

A. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Possess at least a graduate degree in Science, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
  2. Be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants.
  3. Be a recognized businessman or professional with a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university.

B. WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 20 years of working experience, preferably in the aviation sector, including areas such as:
    • Aircraft operations
    • Aircraft acquisition/sales
    • Aircraft induction and upgrades
  • Minimum 10 years in a senior management position.

C. AGE

  • Age range: 45 to 62 years as of 29th December 2024.

D. TENURE

  • The selected candidate will be employed on a contract basis for a period of three (3) years, which may be extended.

E. PAY PACKAGE

  • Market-based salary and fringe benefits will be offered.

F. PREFERENCE

Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • Have worked as a CEO of an international airline or a commercial organization of similar size.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully turning around a company of equal size.
