Hiring of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The National Information Technology Board (NITB), a statutory body functioning under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), is seeking applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment will be made on a contract basis.

Position Details

  • Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

  • Organization: National Information Technology Board (NITB)

  • Ministry: Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT)

  • Nature of Job: Contract-based

Required Qualification

  • Minimum 18 years of education in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding foreign degrees.

Professional Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive professional experience in managing large-scale ICT development initiatives.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in ICT policy formulation.

  • Solid understanding of government processes.

  • Proven leadership and integrity in managing ICT departments/organizations in either public or private sector.

Key Competencies

  • Visionary leadership and decision-making ability

  • Administrative and financial acumen

  • Strong command over government policies, rules, regulations, and SOPs

  • Capacity to lead and execute digital transformation strategies

Age Limit

  • Candidate must be not more than 62 years old on the date of appointment.
