DANISH UNIVERSITY TRUST

SITUATIONS VACANT

The Danish University Trust, operating under the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (M/O FE&PT), Islamabad, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following two (02) contractual positions. Appointments will be made on a three-year contract basis, subject to performance and requirement.

Available Positions

1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Number of Positions: 01
Age Requirement: Minimum 50 years
Quota: Merit

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • The candidate must hold a Master’s degree or higher from a recognized and reputable university, OR possess an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Must have at least 20 years of progressive professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive or leadership role within academia, public administration, corporate sector, non-profit organizations, or international development.

  • Proven record of institutional leadership, including expertise in:

    • Strategic planning

    • Financial management

    • Organizational development

    • Stakeholder engagement

  • Experience in establishing, transforming, or leading large and complex organizations, particularly in education, research, or public service, will be considered a strong advantage.

2. Trust Secretary

Number of Positions: 01
Age Requirement: Minimum 35 years

Minimum Qualifications (any one of the following):

  1. Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (e.g., ICAP, ACCA), OR

  2. Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries (e.g., ICSP, ICSA), OR

  3. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university, OR

  4. Law graduate (LLB).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in trusts, companies, or registered entities.

  • Must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria as specified in the Trust Deed.

  3. Eligibility will be determined based on the candidate’s academic qualifications, experience, age, and other relevant criteria.
