CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Agro Food Processing (AFP) Facilities (Multan)

Agro Food Processing (AFP) Facilities Multan, a Company set up under section 42 of the Companies Act 2017; to provide pulp extraction / grading facilities and helping the growers to go for value addition and minimizing the post harvest losses, requires filling the post of CEO of the company. The applicant should be a dynamic leader, having an insight into the complexity and dimensions of Food related industrial sector.

The incumbent will be required to:

• 1. Implement the vision, mission and goals of the Company as outlined by the Board of Directors/Articles of Association.
• 2. Development and implement short term, long term operational policies and strategic plans in line with its mandate & vision of the BoD, set goals, targets and devise a business plans for measurable outcome/impact.
• 3. Assess results to the Company and ensure they are monitored and minimized.
• 4. Bear responsibilities for the Company’s finances including working with the CFO to prepare budgets and keep BoD informed with respect to cash management, investments, internal audits & Company’s performance.
• 5. Work closely with Human Resources regarding hiring practices, payroll and benefit disbursement.
• 6. Oversee quality control throughout the Company, establishing goals for each department in partnership with division managers.
• 7. Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• 8. Represent the Company as and when required, including attendance at important functions, industry events and public meeting and create alliance for the company, if required.
• 9. Evaluate the work of other executives within the Company.
• 10. Ensure that company maintains high social impacts and adheres to its corporate social responsibility.
• 11. Ensure optimal utilization of installed capacity of food processing / grading machinery at AFP.
• 12. Develop rules, regulations, operating procedures / policies and guidelines ensuring that the company activities are conducted lawfully and efficially.
• 13. Day-to-day management and administration of the Company, including financial management and administration of the Company matters in line with the SECP Rules.
• 14. Any other duty assigned by Board of Directors / prescribed in Articles of Association of the Company.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• 1. Masters degree in any discipline of Food Sciences (Food Technology, Food and nutrition, Food engineering) / Bio-Chemistry or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or other closely related disciplines from an HEC recognized University. Candidate having qualifications in both Food Sciences and Business Administration (MBA) will be of advantage ; and
• 2. He must possess demonstrated experience of at least 15 years including at least ten (10) years of experience as a chief executive or at senior management level in similar organizations that have commercial attributes, in terms of clause 3(1) (ii) (II) (ii) of Fit and Proper criteria provided under schedule II of Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines 2015.
• 3. Maximum age for CEO at the time of appointment at 60 years.
• 4. The appointment contract shall be for the period of three (03) years liable to termination on one month notice or payment thereof by either side.
