Appointment of Chairpersons and Members of PEMRA Councils of Complaints

Locations: Islamabad and Balochistan

In accordance with Section 26 of the PEMRA Ordinance, 2002, as amended by the PEMRA (Amendment) Act, 2023, applications are invited from eminent, competent, and highly qualified citizens (male and female) with substantial experience in media, business, management, finance, economics, or law for honorary appointments in the Councils of Complaints, PEMRA.

The appointments will be for a term of two (02) years.

Vacant Positions

Sr. No Council Positions
I Council of Complaints, Islamabad 1 Chairperson and 5 Members
II Council of Complaints, Balochistan 1 Chairperson and 5 Members

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Minimum 16 years of education or equivalent qualification from a university/institution recognized by HEC.

  • Experience: Substantial experience in media, business, management, finance, economics, or law.

  • Integrity: Candidates must demonstrate eminence, integrity, and competence.

Terms & Conditions / How to Apply

  1. Tenure: Honorary appointments will be for a period of two (02) years.

  2. Application Submission: Interested candidates must submit:

    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    • Three passport-size photographs

    • CNIC

    • Attested copies of degrees and testimonials

    • Proof of experience

    • Matriculation certificate (as proof of date of birth)

    • Mailing address and contact number

  3. Deadline: Complete applications must reach the office within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication and before the closing of office hours. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

  4. Shortlisting: Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

  5. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interviews.

  6. Authority Rights: The Government reserves the right to reject any or all applications or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason. Candidates will have no right to claim any compensation or redress.
