Company Overview

The Energy Department, Government of Sindh, is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions. These roles will be based in Karachi.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

1. Chairman

  • A qualified professional known for integrity and eminence.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a relevant field such as law, business, engineering, finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Preferably has sound knowledge and work experience in the electric power services business.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a 4-year term.

2. Member Technical & Development

  • Holds an engineering degree in electricity, energy, or power.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the electrical and power services business.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a 3-year term.

3. Member Finance & Policy

  • Holds a degree in economics, finance, or chartered accountancy.
  • A professional of known integrity and eminence.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate finance, chartered accountancy, or electric power services.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a 3-year term.

4. Member Legal & Corporate

  • Holds a law degree with a specialization in corporate and commercial law.
  • A professional of known integrity and eminence.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate law.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a 3-year term.

Other Terms and Conditions

  • Domicile Requirement: Applicants for all member positions must be domiciled in Sindh.
