1. PROFESSOR (BPS-20)

Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by PM&DC.

  • Level II b / Level III qualification in the relevant subject (FCPS/MS/MD or equivalent recognized by PM&DC).

Experience:

  • Option 1: 3 years as Associate Professor + 6 research publications as Associate Professor.

  • OR Option 2: 9 years as Assistant Professor with 15 research publications (6 in the last 3 years).

2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (BPS-19)

  • 7 research publications required as Assistant Professor.

3. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (BPS-18)

  • Pathology – 01

  • Pharmacology – 01

  • Biochemistry – 01

  • Forensic Medicine – 01

  • Anatomy – 01

Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC.

  • Level II b or Level III qualification in the relevant specialty.

Experience:

  • 2 years teaching experience as Demonstrator/Lecturer before or after Level III qualification.

  • OR 1 year teaching experience after Level III.

Age Limits:

  • Professor: 40–50 years

  • Associate Professor: 35–45 years

  • Assistant Professor: 27–45 years

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Appointments will be on adhoc basis for 1 year or until arrival of a regular selectee.

  2. Extension may be considered for another year if required for academic continuity.

  3. Recruitment will be done via the Departmental Selection Committee as per government rules.

  4. Submit applications with attested documents to the Office of the Principal, Timergara Medical College within 15 days of this advertisement.

  5. Candidates in government/semi-government departments must apply through proper channels with NOC.

  6. All updates will be posted on the Notice Board of Timergara Medical College.

  7. Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents and CNIC to the interview.

  8. The committee reserves the right to make changes as per service/APT rules.
