Hiring of Audit Firm

Consultancy Services for Audit of Annual Financial Statements 2023-24
Ref: AUS/PC/2024/26

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage, Sukkur, a public sector university established in 2020, is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputed Chartered Accountancy (CA) firms.

The university offers 13-degree programs across various fields of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage.

Objective of the Financial Audit

The purpose of this audit is to enable the appointed auditor to express an independent professional opinion on the financial position of the university, in compliance with International Financial Accounting and Reporting Standards. The audit must be conducted in accordance with International Auditing Standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested CA firms must:

  1. Be registered in Pakistan.
  2. Operate under the applicable rules and regulations of Pakistan.
  3. Be registered with Income and Sales Tax Departments.
  4. Demonstrate the requisite qualifications, experience, and expertise to perform the assignment.

e-Bidding Documents

  • Detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements can be accessed:
  • A non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 and bid security (2% of the tender amount) must be submitted via bank draft/pay order in favor of Aror University.

Submission Instructions

  1. Deadline: December 30, 2024, by 03:00 PM.
  2. Mode: Electronic bids only; manual submissions will not be accepted.
  3. Bid Opening:
    • Date: December 30, 2024.
    • Technically eligible bids will have their financial proposals accepted and opened accordingly.

Additional Information

  • The procuring agency reserves the right to:
    • Cancel the bidding process at any stage.
    • Reject a bid as per relevant provisions of the SPP Rules 2010.
  • Deadline for Sharing Draft Accounts: January 31, 2024.
