INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICER REQUIRED

The Lahore Garment City Company (LGCC) – Ministry of Commerce – was incorporated on 16 September 2004 under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now Companies Act, 2017). LGCC is an approved non-profit organization under Section 2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, and is owned by the Federal Government of Pakistan. It operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce (Textile Wing), Government of Pakistan.

LGCC invites applications for the following position on a One (01) year contract basis, which may be extendable based on performance.

Position: INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICER

Qualification & Experience:

 
Criteria Requirement
Qualification Post Graduate degree in Business or Finance / M.Com (HEC Recognized) OR B.Com degree (HEC Recognized) along with SAS / PIPFA
Experience 5 Years experience as an Internal Auditor in a Public Sector Company
Report Writing Preparation and reply of Federal Govt Audit Reports & Annual Audit Report

Areas of Expertise:

  • Compliance with Authority

  • Forensic Audit

  • Taxation System & Public Finance

  • Audit, Finance, Accounting / Corporate Affairs of the Company

  • Proficient with the Provisions of:

    • Companies Act, 2017

    • Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013

    • SOE's Ownership and Management Policy, 2023

    • Other relevant laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the Company
