JOIN US AS PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR on PPL Chair
The University is looking for a Highly Self-Motivated
and Result-Oriented Individual for the Pakistan
Petroleum Limited (PPL) Chair in Petroleum
Engineering at Pakistan's Premium Engineering
Institution, NED University of Engineering and
Technology. The Chair will have the following
Responsibilities:
Maintain Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs in line with those of leading International Universities and update the Programs according to the requirements of the Petroleum Industry and strengthen industrial liaison.
Strengthen Research Infrastructure of the Department for Research Work relevant to Petroleum Industry and host Research Projects approved by PPL. Teach Courses as per requirements of the Department.
Organize Joint Research Projects of National Interest on mutually agreed Topics in the field of Petroleum Engineering and arrange funding for these Projects at the National or/and international level.
Publish Research Papers only in the renowned International Journals

The minimum Qualifications required for the PPL Chair are:
Ph.D. Degree or Professor of Practice in the subject relevant to Petroleum Industry from a University of International Repute with International Industrial Experience of Fifteen (15) Years is required for Professor and ten (10) for Associate Professor.
Clear Evidence of Individual and Collaborative Research through significant Publications and/or Patents. The Number of Publications required for the Post of Professor are Fifteen (15) and Ten (10) for Associate Professor, which must be published in HEC recognized International Journals (Papers presented at SPE Annual/Global Conferences may also be accepted). For all such Applicants applying as 'Professor of Practice' on PPL Chair, their Number of Years' Experience over and above the Minimum Eligibility Conditions shall be considered against the requirement of each of the Publication.
The Applicant could be from any Country having Diplomatic relations with Pakistan, regardless of Gender and Age. Maximum Age Limit is at the Time of Application is 65 Years. The appointment will be initially for One Year, which may be extended on satisfactory performance.
