2. INTRODUCTION / PURPOSE

Applications are invited from qualified professionals for the following posts at the University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore on a contract basis:

  • Associate Professor (Pharmacy)

  • Assistant Professor (Pharmacy)

  • Lecturer

2 Assistant Professor (Pharmacy) (BPS-19) 01 25–45 years (a) Ph.D. or M.Phil. in Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, or equivalent discipline) from an HEC- and PCP-recognized institute/university; (b) Four years teaching or research experience in a post-graduate institute/university or national/international organization recognized by HEC.
3 Lecturer (BPS-18) 04 22–45 years (a) M.Phil. in Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, or equivalent discipline) from an HEC- and PCP-recognized institute/university; (b) Two years post-qualification teaching or research experience in an institute/university or national/international organization recognized by HEC.

4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Verification: Final appointment is subject to verification of education degrees and experience certificates. Any expenditure in this regard shall be borne by the candidate/employee.

  2. Age Relaxation: Five (5) years relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed across the board. Female candidates shall be given eight (8) years relaxation as per Government Notification No. SORI (S&GAD)-36/61 dated 21-05-2012.

  3. Domicile & Application Submission: Applicants having Punjab domicile must submit applications/dossiers on the prescribed proforma available at the university website (https://uchs.edu.pk/careers), along with attested copies of:

    • Degrees

    • Certificates

    • CNIC copy

    • Domicile

    • Fresh passport-size colored photographs

  4. Application Fee: Application proforma must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, Admin Block, University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, along with a bank draft/pay order of Rs. 5,000/- (non-refundable) for BPS-20, BPS-19 & BPS-18, in favor of "University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore" (FTN number F258751).

  5. Foreign Degree: Applicants with foreign degrees must possess an HEC equivalence certificate.

  6. Government Servants: Must submit applications through proper channel.

  7. Shortlisting: Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.

  8. Authority Rights: The Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts at any level without assigning any reason.

  9. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

  10. TA/DA: No TA & DA will be allowed.

  11. Deadline: Last date for submission of application is 20-11-2026.
