Teaching Positions (Contract Basis)

National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad invites applications from qualified, dedicated, and motivated professionals for teaching positions on a contract basis. Details are provided below:

1. Assistant Professor

Departments:

  • Computer Engineering Technology

  • Cyber Security

  • Management Sciences

Fixed Salary Package: Rs. 100,000/- per month

2. Lecturer

Departments:

  • Computer Engineering Technology

  • Cyber Security

  • Management Sciences

Fixed Salary Package: Rs. 75,000/- per month

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Eligibility Criteria:
    Detailed eligibility requirements for all positions are available at:
    https://nsu.edu.pk/jobs

  2. Online Application:

    • Submit your application online through the NSU job portal: https://nsu.edu.pk/jobs

    • After submission, take a printout of the online application form.

    • Attach attested copies of required documents, including:

      • Academic degrees and certificates

      • CNIC

      • Two passport-size photographs

      • Paid fee challan

    • Send the complete application to the address mentioned below.

    • Applications must reach NSU on or before 26-12-2025.

    • Late applications will not be entertained.

  3. Number of Application Sets:

    • Applicants must submit two complete sets of the application for each position they apply for.

  4. Processing Fee:

    • Download the challan form from the NSU website.

    • Deposit the fee at any branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL).

    • Attach the university copy of the paid challan with the application.

    • Fee structure:

      • Assistant Professor: Rs. 2,000/-

      • Lecturer: Rs. 1,000/-

  5. Applying for Multiple Positions:

    • Candidates applying for more than one position must submit separate applications, each with its own processing fee and complete documentation.

  6. In-Service Candidates:

    • Applicants working in public sector organizations must apply through proper channel.

    • A valid NOC must be attached; otherwise, the application will not be considered.

  7. Envelope Labeling:

    • Clearly mention the name of the post applied for on the top left corner of the envelope.

  8. Experience Requirements:

    • Experience gained as part-time, honorary, apprentice, or interim positions will not be counted.

  9. Age Relaxation:

    • Allowed as per Government rules.

  10. TA/DA:

  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.

  1. University Rights (Important):
    NSU reserves the right to:
    a. Not fill any vacancy or appoint a candidate to a lower cadre if required.
    b. Shortlist candidates based on academic record/test criteria as determined by the university.
    c. Increase or decrease the number of positions depending on availability of funds.
