CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The Audit Oversight Board (AOB), an independent audit regulator based in Islamabad, invites applications from qualified and experienced legal professionals for the following position:

Position Details

Assistant Manager Legal / Deputy Director

Number of Positions: 01 (Merit)

Role Overview

This position is intended for a qualified and experienced legal professional to support the Legal Department in managing the legal affairs of the Audit Oversight Board.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist in:

  • Providing legal advice on all matters pertaining to the Board.

  • Drafting regulatory notices and orders.

  • Drafting and vetting regulations and legal amendments.

  • Assisting the lawyer engaged by the Board in litigation and legal proceedings.

  • Participating in Quality Assurance inspections of audit firms.

  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the competent authority.

Minimum Qualifications

  • LLB or LLM degree from a reputed HEC-recognized institute/university.

  • Must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Court.

Minimum Relevant Experience

  • At least two (02) years of relevant professional legal experience.
