SITUATION VACANT

In pursuance of the concurrence of the Finance Department vide letters dated 21.01.2025 and 18.12.2025, the Communication & Works Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for appointment against the following regular posts, subject to the prescribed qualifications and criteria.

Available Posts

1. Computer Operator

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology / Computer Sciences from a recognized university

• Gender: Female

• BPS: As prescribed

• Age Limit: 22–30 years

• No. of Posts: 01

2. Stenographer

• Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Board of Technical Education

• Skills Required:

  • English shorthand and typing proficiency

• BPS: As prescribed

• No. of Posts: As sanctioned

3. Junior Clerk

• BPS: 07

• Qualification: At least Secondary School Certificate (SSC)

• Additional Requirement:

  • Survey Course of at least three (03) months, including AutoCAD (2D/3D) drawing

• No. of Posts: 01

Terms and Conditions

1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. Detailed scrutiny will be conducted later. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, he/she shall be disqualified.

2. All candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website. Before applying or depositing the fee, candidates must print an E-Sahulat token and get their CNIC verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without verification, application submission will not be possible.

3. Candidates qualifying the ETEA test will be further screened according to eligibility criteria.

4. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.

5. Shortlisting will be based on ETEA test results, limited to three (03) candidates per vacancy.

6. Experience marks will be awarded only for full-time paid relevant experience in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous bodies, supported by pay slips and appointment orders. Experience in the private sector, self-employment, volunteer work, or unpaid internships will not be counted.

7. Candidates must be eligible in all respects by the last date of application submission.

8. Age relaxation will be admissible as per government rules.

9. Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel and submit a Departmental NOC at the time of interview.

10. Original documents along with one set of attested copies must be produced at the time of interview.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

12. Candidates holding foreign degrees must provide HEC equivalency certificates.

13. Errors or omissions in the advertisement, including number of posts, are subject to rectification.

14. All educational documents must be verified from the concerned Board/HEC.

15. The ETEA test is only for shortlisting and carries no weightage in final selection.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates must apply online through www.etEa.edu.pk.

2. After successful online submission, an online deposit slip (containing token number, project code, and candidate information) will be generated.

3. Print the deposit slip and deposit the non-refundable test fee through:

   • Easypaisa App or Agent

   • Any branch of UBL Bank

4. Keep the original paid deposit slip (candidate copy) safely.

5. Do not send documents to the ETEA office. Documents will be required only from candidates who qualify the screening test.

6. Online application forms will be available from 06 January 2026.

7. Last date for submission of online applications: 31 January 2026.

8. Candidates will be informed via SMS to download and print their Roll Number Slips from the ETEA website.

   • Do not provide ported or converted mobile numbers.

9. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll Number Slip.

10. No separate call letters will be issued through post or courier.
