Position Details

  • Position Title: Assistant Election Commissioner

  • BPS (Basic Pay Scale): BS-17

  • No. of Posts: 27

  • Quota Distribution:

    • Merit: 02

    • Punjab: 10 (including 03 for Women and 01 for Minorities)

    • Sindh (Urban): 03

    • Sindh (Rural): 05 (including 01 for Minorities)

    • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 05

    • Ex-FATA: 01

    • AJ&K: 01

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification & Experience:

  • Option 1: M.A / M.Sc (2nd Division)

  • Option 2: B.A (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons) / B.Com (Hons) (2nd Division)

  • Option 3:

    • LLB (5 Years) – 2nd Division

    • OR LLB (3 Years) – 2nd Division with 2 years service experience in a Government Organization

  • Option 4:

    • BA / B.Sc (2nd Division) with 2 years service experience in a Government Organization

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 30 years

  • Additional 5 years upper age relaxation admissible as per rules.

Place of Posting:

Candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
