About PPIB:
The Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan. PPIB facilitates private sector participation in power generation and infrastructure projects. The organization is seeking energetic and self-driven professionals to join its team in the renewable energy sector.

1. Assistant Director (Solar)

Position: Assistant Director (Solar)
Basis: Merit

Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Professional degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized local or foreign institution.

• Master’s degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in solar energy projects.

• Preference for candidates with:

  • Hands-on experience with solar PV systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for PV plant design, modeling, and performance analysis.

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards for solar projects.

  • Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.

Terms & Conditions:

• Age limit: 35 years.

• Compensation: Market-based attractive salary package with benefits including gratuity, hospitalization, provident fund, and group insurance.

• Professional degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized local or foreign institution.

• Master’s degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in solar energy projects.

• Preference for candidates with:

  • Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), PV plant design, grid integration, and performance optimization.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for PV plant sizing, modeling, and analysis.

  • Experience in financial modeling for solar projects, including cost-benefit analysis and funding mechanisms.

  • Hands-on project management experience.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication, report-writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
