CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulatory authority responsible for overseeing Pakistan’s capital markets and corporate sector, invites applications from dynamic, qualified, and results-oriented professionals with impeccable integrity and outstanding technical competencies for the following position:

Position Title:

Assistant Director, Project Management Unit (PMU)
Division: Specialized Companies Division
Location: Islamabad
Nature of Employment: Contractual

Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in one of the following fields:

    • Business Administration

    • Finance

    • Commerce

    • Economics

    • Development Studies

    • Project Management

    • Or any related discipline

  • Degree must be obtained from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in:

    • Project management

    • Financial inclusion

    • Social development

    • Or related areas

  • Preferred Experience:

    • Involvement in social development initiatives

    • Work on financial inclusion or donor-funded projects, especially in:

      • The microfinance sector

      • Women’s financial inclusion

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 35 years (as of the last date for application submission)

  • Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for candidates with at least 3 years’ experience working with a regulator

Contract Duration:

  • Initial Term: 04 years

  • Extension: May be extended for 1 additional year, subject to performance and project requirements

  • Preference will be given to female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.
