Job Description

The SECP, Pakistan’s apex regulator for the capital market and corporate sector, invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated professionals for the role of Assistant Director in its Prosecution and Civil Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to integrity, analytical ability, and legal expertise within a regulatory framework.

Educational Qualifications

  • Required: LLB or LLM from a reputed HEC-recognized Institute/University.

  • Mandatory: Must be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court for at least one year.

  • Preferred:

    • Experience in handling corporate penalty recovery matters within a regulatory environment.

    • Completion of Bar at Law course after obtaining LLB or LLM.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 03 years of relevant post-qualification experience in:

    • Corporate litigation

    • Prosecution relating to corporate affairs

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 35 years (as of the application deadline)

  • Relaxation:

    • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator may be granted 5 years age relaxation.

Additional Notes

  • Female candidates meeting the above criteria will be given preference.

  • Minorities, persons with special needs, and candidates from underrepresented regions such as:

    • Balochistan

    • Ex-FATA districts

    • Gilgit-Baltistan

    • Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)
