Career Opportunity

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator overseeing Pakistan’s capital markets and corporate sector, invites applications from highly qualified, motivated, and results-oriented professionals for the following position based in Islamabad:


Position Title:

Assistant Director – Project Management Unit (PMU)
Division: Specialized Companies Division
Job Location: Islamabad
Employment Type: Contractual


Qualification Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in one of the following disciplines:

    • Business Administration

    • Finance

    • Commerce

    • Economics

    • Development Studies

    • Project Management

    • Or a closely related field

  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university/institute.


Experience Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience is required.

  • Preferred Experience (added advantage):

    • Internship or project support in development projects

    • Financial inclusion initiatives

    • Donor-funded projects


Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 35 years as of the last date of application submission.

  • Relaxation: Candidates with 3+ years of experience with a regulator are eligible for 5 years of age relaxation.


Contract Duration:

  • Initial Term: 4 years

  • Extension: May be extended for 1 additional year based on performance and project needs.
