POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Government of Sindh – Home Department

Center for Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)

1. INTRODUCTION

Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates for various positions on a contract basis for the Center for Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism, under the Home Department, Government of Sindh.

This Center is a specialized initiative dedicated to research, capacity building, community engagement, and policy development in the critical field of countering violent extremism (CVE). The selected professionals will contribute to strengthening Pakistan's resilience against extremism through evidence-based research, training, and outreach programs.

2. CONTRACT TERMS

3. POSITION DETAILS

The following positions are available across various functional areas. Each role requires a specific combination of academic qualifications, professional experience, and specialized skills.

3.1 CURRICULUM & TRAINING DIVISION

c. Preference: Candidates having experience developing curriculum related to social cohesion, tolerance, interfaith harmony, youth engagement, women empowerment, and prevention of violent extremism.
9 Master Trainer 1 40–50 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Education, Human Resource, Commerce, Management Sciences, or Public Administration.

b. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in preparing training manuals, conducting Training of Trainers (ToT), and organizing workshops for Law Enforcement Agencies, Youth, Religious Leaders, Women, and Community Representatives.

c. Preference: Candidates with experience working with law enforcement agencies in capacity building, training design, curriculum development, and workshop management.

3.2 RESEARCH & PLANNING DIVISION

6 Senior Officer Research & Planning 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Security Studies, Sociology, Political Science, or Public Policy.

b. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in drafting research reports, policy analysis, program planning, and thematic work plan development.

c. Preference: Candidates with experience working with government departments, Law Enforcement Agencies, academia, and think tanks in the field of countering violent extremism.

3.3 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIVISION

11 Youth Program Officer 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Social Sciences or Development Studies.

b. Minimum 3 years of experience in youth programming or community development.

c. Preference: Candidates proficient in youth engagement methodology, event and programme coordination.
12 Women Program Officer 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Gender Studies, Arts, Economics, or Social Sciences.

b. Minimum 3 years of experience in women empowerment or gender programming.

c. Preference: Candidates having recognized certification in gender-responsive programming, community outreach, and safeguarding awareness.
13 Religious/Minorities Program Officer 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Islamic Studies, Comparative Religion, or Social Sciences.

b. Minimum 3 years of experience in engaging religious/minority communities and interfaith/peace-building work.

c. Preference: Candidates having worked with recognized NGOs/INGOs in Sindh in the field of Inter Faith Harmony Programs/Projects.

3.4 FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

b. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in office management, coordination, and human resource management.

c. Preference: Candidates with experience working in government departments or NGOs in office administration, human resource, and coordination.

3.5 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

c. Preference: Candidates with experience working with government departments in IT infrastructure, network administration, cyber security, and systems administration.
10 E-Learning Specialist 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Digital Media.

b. Minimum 3 years of experience in E-learning/digital content development.

c. Preference: Candidates proficient in LMS administration, multimedia production, instructional design for digital platforms, and basic data analytics.
14 IT Technical Support Staff 1 35–45 Years a. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology.

b. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support works.

c. Preference: Candidates having recognized certification in hardware/software troubleshooting, basic networking, and helpdesk support.

4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2 The hiring shall be on a fixed monthly remuneration package.
3 Candidates must possess Sindh Domicile to apply for all positions.
4 Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
5 Government servants shall apply through the proper channel, along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Competent Authority.
