The Ministry of Science & Technology invites applications from Pakistani nationals for contract-based positions under the PSDP Project:

“Establishment of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (P, M&E) Cell in Ministry of Science & Technology”

Available Positions

1. Assistant Chief

• Scale (PPS): PPS-8
• No. of Posts: 02
• Quota: Open Merit
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• 16 years of education in:
  • Project Management / Engineering / Applied Sciences
  • Business Administration / Economics
  • Political Science / International Relations
• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
• Minimum 07 years of relevant experience in development, planning, appraisal (preferably in the public sector)
• Knowledge of government rules and procedures will be an advantage

2. Software Developer

• Scale (PPS): PPS-8
• No. of Posts: 01
• Quota: Open Merit
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• 16 years of education in:
  • Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
• From HEC-recognized university
• Minimum 07 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of government rules and procedures preferred

3. Research Officer

• Scale (PPS): PPS-7

• Quota: Open Merit
• Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• 16 years of education in:
  • Project Management / Engineering / IT / Applied Sciences
  • Economics / Political Science / International Relations
• From HEC-recognized university

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Coordination with stakeholders
• Data collection and processing
• Preparation of:
  • Annual Development Plan (ADP)
  • Year Book material
  • Project briefs and summaries
• Familiarity with forums like DDWP, CDWP, ECNEC
• Experience in record keeping and file management (preferred)

4. Junior Programmer

• Scale (PPS): PPS-7

Qualification & Experience:

• 16 years of education in:
  • Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
• From HEC-recognized university
• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of government procedures preferred

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science / IT / Mass Communication or equivalent
• From HEC-recognized university
• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience

Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills (Urdu & English)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with content management systems and social media platforms

• Middle pass
